Technical note on balanced refrigeration

Since the constant temperature equipment used in laboratories has high requirements for temperature accuracy, fluctuation and uniformity, especially when the temperature range is wide or the constant temperature equipment has cooling and heating functions, it is different from the traditional refrigeration system. Kenton Laboratory Equipment LTD's new generation of biochemical incubators, constant temperature and humidity incubator, high and low temperature test chambers, etc. are all equipped with balance adjustment methods for refrigeration and heating systems.

The traditional heating and cooling methods are two independent systems. That is, when the required temperature setting is lower than the ambient temperature, the compressor refrigeration system starts and the heating system turns off. On the contrary, when the temperature setting is higher than the ambient temperature, the heating system starts and the cooling system turns off. Due to the time difference between the start-up of the two systems and temperature fluctuation factors, the temperature repeatedly fluctuates and fluctuates, which has a serious impact on the experimental process. The balanced method is a method of adjusting the temperature of heating and cooling through the control system. Its purpose is to reduce the fluctuations caused by the heating or cooling process. When cooling is required, the compressor refrigeration system is turned on. When the temperature is close to the set temperature, the heating system is turned on at the same time, and heating is used as heating compensation. When the temperature needs to be raised, the heating system is turned on. When the temperature is close to the required temperature, the compressor refrigeration system is turned on at the same time.
