Heating principle and characteristics of electric vacuum drying ovens

Vacuum drying ovens are widely used for the analysis of ingredients in agriculture, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, and for the rapid drying of heat-sensitive, easily decomposed, easily oxidised and powdered substances. The basic principle of heating is to make the temperature of the inner chamber rise by electric heating, and the instrument controls the rise and constant temperature.
The heating principle and characteristics are somewhat different from the general electric constant temperature drying oven, the electric constant temperature drying oven does not need to be evacuated, the heat transfer method is mainly through the air circulation of the inner chamber, while the vacuum drying oven is different, because the inner chamber is processed by evacuation, the inner chamber needs to be heated under negative pressure, there is no air as the heat transfer medium, the electric heating tube can only transfer the heat energy to the items to be dried through the inner chamber wall and laminate in contact with it. The electric heating tube can only transfer heat energy to the items to be dried through the wall of the inner chamber and the laminate in contact with it. Therefore, why the electric constant temperature drying oven is also called hot air drying oven, but not including vacuum drying oven, is named according to the principle of heat transfer.
Due to the difference of heat transfer method, usually the temperature fluctuation and uniformity control of vacuum drying oven is more elaborate than that of hot air drying oven, and the hot air drying oven can effectively solve the problem of temperature rushing and uniformity by optimising the air duct design and blower, increasing the heating surface and making the hot air have better circulation, but the vacuum oven has no air duct, no blower and hot air circulation, and can only transfer heat through contact. Heat energy can only be transferred through contact. In principle, the more the heating element is installed, the better the temperature uniformity will be, and the more users can compare the requirements for temperature uniformity and fluctuation when selecting a vacuum chamber. The KZ-G series is equipped with a laminate locking heat transfer technology, which can increase the contact surface between the laminate and the inner chamber when the locking is tightened, so that the heat energy can be better transferred from the inner chamber to the laminate and then to the items, and the laminate can be easily removed when the locking is released after the drying is completed.
After understanding the heating characteristics of the vacuum drying oven, we will finally talk about its thermal insulation. The thermal insulation of the DZF series vacuum oven is through the thermal insulation cotton filled in the inner and outer box sandwich, but after all, the heat pipe and the inner chamber will transfer the heat energy to the thermal insulation layer at the same time, and there will be certain loss of heat energy.
