In response to some misconceptions about temperature measurement when using an electric thermostatic incubator, the following notes are given.

According to the test method promulgated by the national industry standard YY0027-90 for Precision LCD screen electric heating incubator, the first thing to note is that the environmental conditions of the test should be in accordance with the ambient temperature of 15-25°C.

1. The temperature fluctuation test is to record the temperature value at the top air valve of the incubator every 3 minutes within 30 minutes, record the maximum value in a set of data, and the difference between the minimum value and the nominal value should be in line with ±0.5℃ range. Within 8 hours, record the temperature value at the top air damper every 1 hour, record the maximum value in a set of data, and the difference between the minimum value and the nominal value should be within ±0.5°C.

2. The temperature uniformity test is in the top of the incubator when the air valve is half open, the test temperature is 60±2℃. In the incubator studio on the middle and lower three layers of symmetrical placement of the sensor, a total of 13 points, the distance between the three layers are 10% of the height of the inner liner, the test point and the distance between the wall of the incubator for the corresponding side length of 10% of the inner liner, the midpoint for the geometric centre of the inner liner. Test points for volumes not greater than 0.3 cubic metres are only taken from the upper and lower layers and the geometric centre for a total of 9 points. Start heating up, when the first time to reach a constant temperature state and stable after 2 hours record the temperature value of each point, and in 15 consecutive minutes record the temperature change curve of each point against time, and then compare the change curve with the change curve of the geometric centre point of the inner liner, the temperature change value of each point should be within ± 1 ℃.

As can be seen from the industry standard, the temperature uniformity data is basically tested two hours after the temperature has reached the set value, which corresponds to a process of temperature constancy.
